2025 Year of Jubilee

In the Church, a Year of Jubilee is celebrated every 25 years. In 2025, the year of Jubilee has been given the theme of “Pilgrims of Hope” by Pope Francis. A Jubilee year is mentioned in the Old Testament and in Church history, dates back to the 1300’s.

A year of Jubilee is a year of penance and mercy designed to turn hearts of the Faithful back to God and show God’s mercy and forgiveness to His Children.

Events and photos from our Archdiocese, as well as information during this Year of Hope will appear on this page.
