Here, at our Council, we have several different committees to serve our Council and the public. This is a description of each committee and what they oversee:
Bingo: This committee oversees the function of our Council’s Regular Bingo. They ensure the availability of supplies and that the event runs smoothly.
Committee Chairmen: Leo Bordage and Norm Gallant
Mini Bingo: This committee oversees the function of our Council’s Mini Bingo. They ensure the availability of supplies and that the event runs smoothly. They also work closely with the Bingo Committee to ensure that there are enough supplies.
Committee Chairman: Marcel Denis
Donations: This committee meets and makes recommendations on causes which the Council should donate to. They review donation requests, study the issues, and present their recommendations at Council General Meetings.
Committee Chair: The Executive Committee
Columbus Club: This Committee oversees the Columbus Club Bar.. They ensure that the Columbus Club remains an independent organization separate from the council. They also insure that all legal and provincial regulations are met, as well as ensuring that the Club stays viable.

Canteen: This committee oversees our canteen sales at council events such as Bingos. They ensure that canteen remains viable through upkeeping stock and thoughtfully maintain prices. This committee also oversee the preparation of food and ensure public safety.

Breakfast: This committee oversees our Council’s Monthly Sunday Breakfasts. They run the event, pick up supplies, oversee the preparation of food and ensure public safety.

Internet Technology (IT): This committee oversees the Council’s online and digital resources. This committee regularly updates and maintains the Council’s computers and this website.

Social Media: This committee oversees the Council’s social footprint. This committee regularly updates the Council’s Facebook and YouTube pages and answers any questions delivered to the Council from these platforms.

Newsletter: This committee oversees the three council newsletters each year with the goal of educating the members of council on news and upcoming events that are in the interest of the membership.

State Lottery: This committee oversees the Council’s participation of State Lottery ticket sales. They coordinate ticket sales at the Champlain mall and communicate with the State Council over the schedule to sell tickets.

Bursaries: This committee oversees the awarding of council bursaries and does so by reviewing qualifications and interviewing qualified candidates and advising the Executive Committee of their findings.

Special Olympics and Scouts: This committee oversees the council’s partnership with both the Special Olympics and the Saint Michael’s Scouts. Our council has had a long history of partnership with both the Special Olympics and the Scouts and we are happy to continue to do so.

Ladies Auxiliary: The Ladies’ Auxiliary oversees many events in coordination with the Council. They meet and discuss charitable causes.
